Chapbook Call for Submissions

While we typically commission submissions to our Chapbook, we also welcome submissions from anyone reading this 'call' for a future issue of Gatherings.

Take a look at this website, including examples from the previous issues, and at our manifesto, and consider how you might be involved.

While we cannot absolutely guarantee that work submitted will make it into an issue, we do guarantee that all work will be valued, and handled with care, pride and respect.

Style and Submission Guidelines

Submissions of a more literary or textual nature should be kept to whatever can be included on one page. We invite imaginative formatting and formal expression.  Please submit text documents in .docx file format. Submit images in high resolution (600dpi ideal) .jpeg.

We ask that, along with your submission, you send us a 200-word summary of the work that contextualizes its production in association with your research and a one or two sentence bio. We will publish this context along with the work and we will give you an opportunity to edit this beforehand.

Please send submissions to performancegatherings@gmail.com, with the subject line, "Chapbook Submission."  If you have any questions as you prepare, don't hesitate to contact us.

We look forward to your creative submissions!
